Ordering a quote
Ordering
Section titled “Ordering”Order an option from the quote screen. Ordering:
- fixes that option: its parts list, price and documents are kept exactly as they are, whatever happens to price lists later;
- draws its documents once and keeps them;
- makes the quote an order. The other options stay to look at, but can’t be changed or ordered unless ShedTech allows another order.
An ordered quote can be neither saved nor deleted. To change it, copy it to a new quote.
Quotes and Orders
Section titled “Quotes and Orders”Quotes lists jobs not ordered yet; Orders lists ordered ones. Both hold the web’s and the desktop’s jobs together, with:
- where each job is at (its stage);
- an order’s paid mark;
- filters by source, stage and paid, and sorting.
An order opens as its ordered option, fixed.
